Confidentiality & Ownership
We understand the importance of protecting your idea and want you to be confident in knowing that Pi Tech will always take proper care to protect your interests. That’s why every engagement begins with a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The NDA is a written agreement to not disclose information and protect your patent rights or intellectual property rights. It also outlines the information you want to secure and the duration of the protection.
Pi Tech hands over the code and ownership of the application once completed and payment has been received. However, this is insufficient for protecting our client’s rights. We go one step further and specify in our contracts that the copyright for the works in the agreement are owned by the client. All such works or portions of works created by Pi Tech is “works made for hire” and we assign the right, title, and interest of the software to our clients.
